Andrew Sykes & Pete Checketts
Chairman & Retired Director of rhg
rhg Group
Peter Checketts sadly passed away at the end of October 2018 following a short illness, aged just 65. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and all the friends that he had in the marketplace. Along- side Andrew Sykes of rhg, Peter was Ataraxia’s first investment in 2010. A true gentlemen, who became Ataraxia’s “pathfinder”. He helped us to develop and refine our succession model; giving confidence to other investees as the business developed. Peter’s retirement was unfairly short, having fully retired from rhg in 2016. We will always remember Peter’s enthusiasm, passion for business (and life in general), and we will always be appreciative of his help. Ataraxia are proud to have provided Peter and his family with a route to retirement. He will be missed very much.
RIP Pete Checketts
Retired Director of rhg
“I fell in love with the Ataraxia concept the first time that I heard it. I had known Stuart Randall for some while, and he is one of those people who you instantly recognise as completely straightforward, trustworthy, and an original thinker.
I said that I had a scenario in mind, and that I wanted to be first in line if Ataraxia ever come into being……and I was.
I would have to say that rhg has benefited from its association with Stuart and his growing team, and it has achieved everything that I needed, now helping on the next phase of growth and development.
rhg is the embodiment of the living truth that the solution works, and that Ataraxia keeps its word – and I can’t recommend it any higher than that”.
