The Broker Investment Group takes 100% stake in Hallsdale Insurance Brokers

The Broker Investment Group has increased its stake in Hallsdale Insurance Brokers, based in Kettering, Northants, to 100% ownership.

The partnership began over 5 years ago in March 2018 with an original investment of 30%, before the total sale on 3^rd July 2023.

Founded in 2007, Hallsdale Insurance Brokers has a GWP of £3m and is predominately a commercial lines community broker. Simon Drysdale stays fully within the business as before and fellow Director Angela May now steps up to become Managing Director. The other 4 staff and premises all remain unchanged and an important part of the onward journey.

The relationship between Hallsdale Insurance and The Broker Investment Group has been very successful over the previous 5 years and this deal is part of longer-term succession planning but also with ambitious growth targets over the next 5 years, with a sales and marketing plan in place to acquire new businesses together.
