Insurance Connections – a brand new, commercial insurance broker founded by insurance broking expert Nathan Walton – and backed by The Broker Investment Group

January 2024 sees the launch of a brand new and dynamic insurance broker called Insurance Connections.

Founded by one of the best-connected people in the insurance industry Nathan Walton, who has since assembled a vastly experienced yet hungry team of insurance professionals who specialise in commercial insurance broking. Due to Nathan’s long-standing relationships with insurers, he has amassed a strong list of insurance connections and early trading has seen impressive client wins and GWP growth from a standing start.

Nathan founded JSW Insurance in 2003, a commercial insurance broker and grew the business exponentially for 10 years, selling it The County Group in 2013 and joining the County board. He then helped The County Group grow its GWP to an impressive £100m before becoming an insurance consultant.

Nathan comments:

“After some highly enjoyable insurance consultancy projects for several high-profile clients, as a relatively young man(?!) I still had a burning desire inside to set up and run another insurance brokerage. Using some highly respected industry professionals as a sounding board, Peter Cullum and Dave Clapp as two examples, I was encouraged to return to what I love doing best.
