We’re Hiring – Insurer Placement Executive (South Region)
We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Insurer Placement Executive to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing the placement process across multiple businesses, through effective broker and insurer engagement and market negotiation. Role Overview
The Placement Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating the placement of predominantly commercial insurance risks with insurer partners. The role involves building strong relationships with our group brokers and supporting the group placement strategy. You will need to manage the broking process effectively to deliver successful outcomes. You will also be working closely with our partner insurers, supporting prospecting and pipelining, negotiating terms and ensuring efficient placement of policies that meet client and business requirements.
Salary
Up to £45,000 (subject to experience) plus, car and benefits
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a successful placement process from case identification to initial submission through to binding cover.
- Manage multiple brokers placement strategy across the region and be visible in all businesses on a regular basis.
- Ensure placements align with client needs, risk appetite, and company strategy.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with our broking teams and insurer contacts.
- Manage stakeholder relationships efficiently and effectively
- Support renewal strategies and assist with digital, mid market, complex or non-standard risks.
- Own and Produce placement reports, market updates, and performance analysis where required.
- Assist in resolving insurer queries and placement-related issues promptly.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Experience within Commercial insurance, broking, underwriting, or placement.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products & insurer appetite.
- Excellent relationship and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Driving licence
Desirable
- Cert CII or working towards CII qualifications.
- Knowledge of insurer portals and electronic trading platforms.

Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
Insurance qualifications such as Cert CII preferred but not essential
Working Conditions
- This is a hybrid role from home, you will be mobile with weekly visits to our Brokers and Insurers across the region
