The Broker Investment Group Strengthens Leadership Team for next phase of growth

The Broker Investment Group (TBIG) has announced a number of senior leadership appointments as the business continues to strengthen its executive team and build for its next phase of growth.

Stuart Grieb joins as Group COO

Stuart Grieb joins TBIG on 13 July as Group Chief Operating Officer.

Stuart brings extensive insurance leadership experience, having held senior roles at Marsh, Towergate, Brightside, WTW and, most recently, Brown & Brown. As Group COO, he will lead the Group’s Retail and MGA businesses, with responsibility for driving operational excellence, strengthening collaboration across the business and supporting the delivery of TBIG’s long-term growth strategy.

His appointment represents an important step in the Group’s continued evolution, enhancing operational capability and creating an even more connected structure to support colleagues, customers and insurer partners.

Nick Hopkin expands Group role

Nick Hopkin will take on an expanded remit as Strategic Development Director, leading placement across the Group. His role will bring central market relationships even closer to local trading operations, while also assuming responsibility for MGA market relationships and insurer partnerships, helping present the Group’s full range of capabilities to the market.

Rosie Guru joins as Group Integration Director

Rosie Guru joins TBIG on 20 July as Group Integration Director.

Rosie has extensive experience in transformation, integration and operational change, having held senior positions with RSA (now Intact), NFP, and in consultancy, where she has led complex integration and business change programmes across the insurance sector.

Her appointment reflects TBIG’s continued focus on building a more connected, integrated business, supporting greater collaboration, consistency and value across the Group.

Leadership changes

The group also acknowledges the contributions of James Watkin, outgoing CEO of its MGA division, and Andy Roden, outgoing CEO of its retail division, both of whom leave with the group’s thanks and best wishes.

Chris Haggart, Group CEO of TBIG, said:

“These appointments reflect both the progress we’ve made and the ambition we have for the future. Stuart, Nick and Rosie each bring outstanding experience and expertise that will strengthen our leadership team and help us deliver the next phase of TBIG’s growth. As we continue to invest in our people, our capabilities and our partnerships, we’re creating an even stronger platform for long-term success.”
